Founded by Mrs. Truong My Lan in 1992 as Van Thinh Phat Limited Liability Company (VTP) and originally specializing in trading and hospitality services, the company has diversified its business into property development. VTP has opened several restaurants, hotels, office buildings and apartments, all of which have earned a reputation for premium quality. Two prominent and well-known properties are the Windsor Plaza Hotel and the Sherwood Residence Serviced Apartments. In addition, the company has launched many real estate projects focusing on residential areas and hospitality resorts in Ho Chi Minh City and its neighboring provinces.

In 2007, VTP extended its organization by establishing two sizeable joint-stock enterprises named VTP Investment Corporation and An Dong Investment Corporation. The company also has developed partnerships with Times Square (Vietnam) Joint Stock Company and Great Truong Son Corporation to form an extensive group of property developers.

The brandname VTP is widely recognized and highly prestigious among Vietnam’s business community. The company has recently become one of the leading real estate corporations in Vietnam, with paid-up capital of VND 12,800 billion or USD 700 million.
